High Five For Friday: A Long Week
This really hasn't been the best, most interesting week as my husband traveled for work and I came down with a cold/sinus issues. Oh well...looking forward to a better week ahead.
1) This past Saturday, my hubby and I got a child-free day date. We spent it going to a craft beer festival in Gainesville. It was rather hot and crowded but I enjoyed all of the food samples from local restaurants. It was located at the beautiful Kanapaha Gardens. We enjoyed a walk around the grounds before it was time to head back to reality.
4) Free breakfast!!! Our local Chick-fil-A was offering free chicken mini's for breakfast this past Wednesday. So wonderful to have a hot breakfast I didn't have to cook.
5) Having my hubby home safely, although a day later, from his business trip. Our daughter missed him so much this week. I'm so happy we will get to have a weekend at home, relaxing for once. Although there is much to do around here to get caught up. I also plan to continue recovering from this cold.

2) We spent Sunday morning out on my in-law's pontoon boat. It was the perfect morning to get a little fresh air.
3) Once we were home on Sunday evening, we had just enough time go to out for a family bike ride. We tried to convince our daughter to ride along with us on her new bike but she refused. I still have the baby bike seat attached to my bike and that is all she wanted. So in she went, with her knees in my back. =) She still meets the weight recommendations of the seat, barely. We were treated to this beautiful sunset on our way back home.
